Sam Haddad, Esq.
Sam Haddad has used mediation techniques to resolve cases for more than two decades. Sam worked in the Sacramento County District Attorney’s office for over ten years, first as a Legal Research Assistant then as a Deputy District Attorney. She further honed her mediation skills as an area business manager and most recently as a mediator panelist with Placer Dispute Resolution Services, Yolo Conflict Resolution Center, Restorative Justice for Juvenile Offenders in Yolo County and California Lawyers for the Arts mediation programs. Sam became an approved panel mediator for the City of Sacramento CARES Mediation Program administered by Sacramento Mediation Center/California Lawyer for the Arts, where she negotiates landlord/tenant conflicts arising out of the special circumstances related to COVID-19. Sam also regularly serves as a Settlement Conference Pro Tem Judge in Department 59 for the Sacramento Superior Court.
Sam is an active member of the California State Bar and member of the Sacramento County Bar Association. She holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. Her mediation certificate from UC Berkeley was obtained under widely-acclaimed arbitrator and mediator, Ron Kelly.
Sam was born and raised in Sacramento, then attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Currently residing in Sacramento, Sam remains philanthropically involved, most currently with Saint John’s Program for Real Change and with the National Charity League, Sacramento chapter.
